Pre-incubation phase - Getting ready for launch!

5 points are of particular interest to us when considering your admission into the incubator:
- The clarity and originality of the concept
- The customer need and the offer
- The competitive analysis
- The motivation and adequacy of the team
- The first concrete steps taken and the roadmap imagined

Depending on your progress on these points, your project will go through a pre-incubation phase, which will give you access to a range of services including one-on-one meetings, access to "Advantage Partners” and a co-working space on the ESSEC campus in Cergy.
You will also be part of the ESSEC Ventures entrepreneurial community, which will challenge you and give you a boost in the development of your project.

Incubation phase - You're off to a good start!

The entry into the incubation phase starts with an imposed pitching exercise of your project in front of an audience of students, staff and alumni. This is the monthly event "New Member Pitch". This marks your "official" entry into the ESSEC Ventures incubator club.

A range of services is then added to the pre-incubation offer. In particular, project owners have access to Office Hours with our ESSEC Alumni in Residence (Entrepreneurs, business angels, VC, CFO, CTO, etc.). The more motivated, ambitious and demanding you are, the more the incubator is mobilized to help you overcome obstacles and succeed.

Incubation ends upon graduation of the student.

Incubatee Testimonials

I met the ESSEC Ventures team with an idea and basic market research. The team at ESSEC Ventures helped me work on my business model, on my business plan and even my presentation slides! I had discussions regarding entrepreneurship with the team which helped me gain interesting insights. The team enabled me to transform my idea into reality.

Another thing I am grateful for is the network that is accessible to us. Through ESSEC Ventures I met my mentor, an Essec alumnus working in the healthcare sector, who guided me throughout my journey. The support from alumni and being an ESSEC student gave me an edge to enter the pharma sector.
Axelle N’Ciri - Mapatho

We co-founded our biotech during our Executive MBA and the choice to be incubated at ESSEC Ventures was therefore natural for us. Above all, it's an opportunity to have access to a very rich ecosystem, to share about our challenges with other start-ups, get mentoring on a wide range of topics, access to experts to help us on specific subjects... In short, a great melting pot that has allowed us to grow and to get our project off the ground.
