The cutting-edge research conducted by ESSEC’s Management Department aims to help current students and future managers to master the diverse knowledge and skills needed to face the problems and challenges present in modern business environment.
The department regularly organizes research seminars with the participation of guests from leading institutions worldwide.

Teaching
The department offers undergraduate and graduate-level courses through diverse pedagogical tools that translate the research findings into advanced tools, frameworks, and insights to help guide managerial decision making. There are three chairs within the Department namely Armand Peugeot Chair, Chair of Leadership and Diversity, ESSEC Change Management Chair, as well as a chair being renewed Edgar Morin Chair on Complexity.
