My broader research interests revolve around occupations and their outcomes – as affected by social evaluations – as well as issues of diversity and inclusion among them.  My current work specifically examines the involvement of high-status professional collectives in historically stigmatized and semi-illicit industries (i.e. professional accountants in the U.S. cannabis industry) as well as the impediments to diversity and inclusion in high-status professional service firms.
